“I think it always starts from an idea that starts from an experience, and something that I've been thinking about a lot was the idea of the medium as the metaphor. And I think when there is a concept that I want to explore, I think of what material would be best to translate that idea. I feel that glass, conceptually, is able to touch upon all those things depending on how it's worked with and...

“When I think about candlelight and the light that's emitted in some of my works, I think about it symbolizing the eternal light of the soul. A deep essence that exists within all of us that cannot be extinguished or really touched by any external force. And I think about the enduring power of that light that comes from within.” - Victoria Ahmadizadeh Melendez Victoria's Website: www.victoria-a...

I fell asleep to a nile red video, woke up 2h deep into glass blowing stuff, crazy how everybody woke up to this😂
Well what is it
Wow, you are an amazing sculptor. So life like. I love watching you work. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love this piece, especially the murrine work. I must get my Fratelli Toso out of the cabinet and give it some love.
where do you get your flash glass?
At the bench, "higher" means rod end higher. In the furnace, "lower" means rod end higher. Strangely, both seem natural.
This seems to be a difficult video to find when using "corning museum" keywords. Wading through the video list is daunting. Vittorio, I absolutely love your work! 🤘💚🤘
Wtf, it's like sports commentary for the most boring thing ever lol
i wonder if Bill would accept a commission for a tri color version of this. would make a magnificent dining table center piece.
Amazing. I want to learn more from him and his friends who are reproducing and proving what happened.
That's my boy Cedric! He was my teacher back when i took an intro class at Tulsa Community College. So happy to see him succeeding. Keep pushing it Cedric.
Still wearing that dumb beanie tho lol
Omg, Cedric taught me how to blow glass back when he was in Tulsa! how did in miss this video until now?? So happy to see him doing well so well.
O would like to know more about her life
I fail to understand how it is functional, but ok. Maybe they could have shown the business end.
Scratch that, after the reveal they blow out the mouth piece and show the functionality
ADOREI ESTE LINDO TRABALHO É ESPETACULAR 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a great video to watch!! I visited Vittorio's workshop in Venice last week and it was great to see many of these pieces in the video, in real life!! I will watch this video a few more times 👍👍
The accident yeah I’m sure the kept the glass it was in my shoes
Imagine being the absolute gigachad that owns and operates that phenomenon. 👑
Totally did not deserve to win that finale. Everyone online is completely blown away that Ryan didn't win.
FENOMENAL O TRABALHO DO SR. SIGNORETT 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What do you mean by “survive”?
Go Helen. Love the green vase and sea coral reef piece. From the Sydney to Singapore run on Celebrity.
Marvellous. I am two episodes away until the end of season 4. Maybe a spoiler alert in the title next time?
I would like to see the "eagle claw feet" being made.
Your poetry with words and through your glasswork brought tears to my eyes. Your candlestick holders really speak to something inside me. Something about bringing a little light to the darkness in any situation always feels like a beautiful triumph. Thank you for your amazing art!
It looks like all these years later I am the only one who didn't wake up to this.
I remember when Corning concern traded on glass. I guess Stueben is really dead. Cutsy is not not humorous
Time is always flowing. Styles are always changing. I think you might be stuck in the past. Old glass is beautiful and stunning, but don't undermine Morgan and her amazing technibility.
Uh, no.@@maclainrivera635
Flame chemistry doesn't effect striking, it only effects surface silver. Heat is what strikes glass. It's sad because this dude is working for corning. Glass Alchemy has some very good reading on this topic that will give you a much better understanding of this situation 👍
Oh no. Not the bath tub.
NOPE!
I just started watching the season 4 😭😭😭😭
Fascinating
This shtick is unbearable
man just took a dremel to molten glass
So what's the final results?
Micah is SUS 100%
"An offal lot of white guys"? WTF? That's about the most stupid thing I've heard. You can't force diversity. If someone wants to blow glass it doesn't matter what group they are in. We don't need any more virtue signalers and wokesters in the industry, just REAL people 💯
The truth is the art glass world was forced to let the pipe makers in because we make waaaaay cooler looking work 😎
Thanks UA-cam, I now have a new binge watching obsession. Thankfully it's a craft that doesn't...uhm fit within my budget...so my ADHD can't go "ooh let's learn that next" IYKYK 🤦♀️🤷♀️😂
I am watching him...but cannot fathom out how on earth he went from a 2 dimensional V x 3 to a 3D flower with petals...its either bamboozling or frustrating or both.
I think the lady is in love with George. "...auto inflator"...where can i order one of these...i need one. LOL. I'd be interested to know the Carbon Footprint of producing this 15kg vase? Would like to then compare it with the CO2 footprint of a flight. From an engineering perspective, the risk posed by making a mistake in the very late stages of the production, by knocking the vase against the sides of the kiln, is too high.
The artists make it look so easy and simple.. I see mostly men in the mix of the glass creations. Is that because of the physical strength involved with the weight og and glass ?
Thank you for providing this free class from one of the GOATs in glass 🙏
The way you made your foot was awsome
😮 awesome
This man is a machine. Impressive, truly mesmerizing. I have been clapping every minute and a half.
So fuckin awesome
Glass work seems amazing I'd like to try it one day!
I love that there is so much going on. 🥳
I have a new hero!
